Welcome to the Bombay Karate Club, your gateway to the dynamic world of JKA Style Traditional Shotokan Karate.
Founded with a vision to provide systematic and scientific instruction in this art, we invite all
enthusiasts to explore the technical depths of karate with us.
Affiliated with AJKA International, the Bombay Karate Club boasts a growing community of over 150
students and continues to expand. Our classes, located in Andheri, Borivali, and Mira Road, offer
convenient access for aspiring karate practitioners across Mumbai.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of engaging karate activities, including Karate Grading,
Training Camps, Technical Seminars, Self Defence Workshops, and our highly anticipated Annual
Championship.

With over three decades of experience in Karate, Sensei Ridhish Thakor is an accomplished Karate-Ka
and dedicated teacher. He holds the rank of AJKA International 5TH Dan Black Belt, and serves as an
Examiner and Licensed International Instructor and Referee. His impressive competitive record includes
representing India as part of the first International Karate Team at the South Asian Federation Games
`99, where he earned a bronze medal for the nation. He has also been a multiple-time All India
National Champion in JKA and AIKF.
Sensei Ridhish has had the privilege of learning from some of the world's most renowned Karate
instructors, and has dedicated his career to passing on the knowledge and skills he has acquired to
the next generation of Karate-Ka in India. His passion for the art and commitment to excellence make
him a valuable asset to the Karate community.
